Security
Along with 5 KWS trained guards funded by the Eden Trust (who live on Tony Church's land - thanks Tony!), there are forest guards supplied by the Forest Department. These men patrol the forest and help control the ongoing theft of trees. They are supported by the Trust who provides their uniforms, boots and also fuel for their vehicles. Since we started supporting the security effort, there has been a noticeable reduction in the theft and a marked increase in the Muhugu regeneration.
